We strive to raise & produce dogs that are suitable for sport, Schutzhund, & SAR, but most importantly beautiful, noble, healthy & loyal family companions that are sound in structure and temperament.

Kriegerhund Shepherds is small, family run operation located in beautiful Colorado. We love the heart and courage of DDR/East German Shepherds, but more importantly love their ability to live in the house and be excellent family companions. While we actively participate in Schutzhund with our dogs, we also do not want dogs to be so extreme that we cannot have them in our home. This wonderful bloodline is disappearing and it is our hopes to not only help preserve it, but to continue to improve it. We take pride in what we breed and produce. We raise and train our own dogs for our personal use, ensure that they are well socialized with young children, and occasionally have a few puppies available to the public. When we do choose to breed our dogs, it is very selectively done and we never mass produce puppies. Please feel free to email us or call with any questions or comments!
